The project
A doctor hired East Side Construction of Harrison, Idaho to finish his new 8,500 square foot home overlooking Lake Coeur d’Alene. The builder, Harold, had lived with ThermaRay radiant heat himself for more than 20 years.
The system
ThermaRay radiant ceiling heat was installed through most of the home. Even under 30-foot vaulted ceilings, it delivers even warmth at floor level, because radiant heat travels in straight lines until it reaches the floor, furniture and people. It warms the floors too.
The panels work behind almost any ceiling. Here they’re above drywall in some rooms and above tongue-and-groove wood in others.
